Head of Individual Commissioning and Prevention

Details: Cheshire West and Chester Council, a brand new unitary authority which comes into existence on 1 April 2009. With an ambitious Chief Executive now in post and all six high calibre Director's appointed - they are now focusing on recruiting the Heads of Service. This new post will play a key role in the modernisation agenda for Adult Social Services and Health by leading, developing and managing the Individual Commissioning and Prevention Service to inform the development of specific programmes of care. You will have significant experience in managing adult social care services including commissioning of social care and a proven track record of working in and forging successful partnerships with a wide range of internal and external bodies to successfully deliver a holistic approach to customer access and service.
